Ceoe insists on including the reduction of the dismissal in the negotiation of the social dialog
“We are in a period of crisis, all we know that she is deep and she will be lasting, but also opportunities appear”, indicated to a positive Gerald yesterday Diaz Ferrán, Ceoe president, in the session of closing of XIII the National Congress of Young Industralists. The spokesman of the employer's association took advantage of his appointment in measured Corunna to demand the Government that palliates the present crisis of liquidity and economic confidence: liberalization of the markets, privatization of public companies, supports to the I+D+i, reductions in PERSONAL INCOME TAX sections and quotas of the Social Security and more relaxation of the labor market. In this respect, the representatives of the Spanish industralists emphasized the dangers that of a too rigid dismissal could be derived: “The one that now is more expensive, prevents small industralists to take more workers”, assured the president Ceoe, for that to lower the price of the exit of the worker “does not mean a greater number of dismissals”. “Many industralists take care of themselves to take employees - Ferrán- continued, because they know that soon it will cost to them much (the dismissal)”. Diaz Ferrán was hopeful of which the message will pierce between the unions. And he shielded himself in which, last term, its objective is the use creation. “I am sure that we are going to receive a positive response in the unions”, assured. Besides the reduction in price of the dismissal, the Ceoe president demanded other liberalizing measures: a greater control of the employee absenteeism, the regulation and normalization of the companies of temporary work and contracts part-time, plus the relaxation of the conditions by which a work contract can be extinguished.
