The Government wants to negotiate a new labor reform east year
The Executive proposes to raise to four points the quota of temporary contracts and to lower the one of the fixed ones. Work tries to include measures to improve the pensions of the workers part-time the Government has predicted to propose to employer's associations Ceoe and CEPYME, and to unions CCOO and the UGT, a new labor reform for, if they agree, beginning this same year to negotiate it. Between the new measures that the new Executive will put on the table it finds an increase of up to four points in the quotes of temporary contracts and a slope of a point in the one of the indefinite ones. Also it wants to penalize the industralists who dismiss workers before the vacations or of the weekend for he would save social quotas, wishes to create a special statute the scholarship holder and to part-time improve the pension of retirement of the work. Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero promised to call to the unions and the industralists the day after gaining the elections. Besides which it has done already it of informal way, the official call will not take place until being invested like president of the ninth legislature and to that it appoints a Secretary of Labor, they point sources of the Government. At the moment a worker can be years in this situation of uncertainty. Agreeing with the unions, the Executive better considers to drive indefinite contracts part-time and to create a special regime for the worker fix-I discontinue --very extended in the hotel trade, the commerce and agriculture-- equipping it with own characteristics. In the other side of the balance, Work will propose to penalize in the social quotas the industralists who dismiss workers to vacations for saved quotes to the Insurance. SCHOLARSHIP HOLDERS Another measurement that the Executive wants to negotiate with the social agents is an own statute of the scholarship holders who work in the companies in order that its relation is limited periods of formation strictly and so that they have contract. He is dipuesto to establish sanctions to the companies that use scholarships to cover jobs which they would have to be stable. Also the Government wants to suppress the penalty that part-time supports in their pension the workers who, in addition, in a 70% are women. To them half of the day is only computed to them (with the object of retirement) and so they need the double effort to manage the 15 minimum years to have right to a pension.
